Frameworks
Over the years Cheetham Hill Construction has introduced partnering and collaborative working arrangements to its work portfolio. We have successfully undertaken frameworks for a number of clients, which have included utilities, waste transfer facilities, minor works, and landfill projects. Currently we have live frameworks with the following:
Environment Agency - AOMR framework for the NW & NE regions
Early in 2024, we secured our place on the EA’s AOMR framework for the next four years. Having been on the previous framework since 2018, we will continue to work with the Environment Agency, protecting communities and providing innovative solutions to reduce embodied carbon using our skilled in-house workforce and specialist supply chain.
Projects up to £1m in value can be awarded on this new framework.
North Yorkshire County Council Civils Framework
CHC were awarded two places on this framework on projects up to £500k.
Lot 1 North Yorkshire and York
Lot 2 Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds, and Wakefield
The type and value of the works will vary according to each Council’s requirements, but in general the works will relate to reactive/programmed maintenance and improvements in three core works areas of:
Highways – working in carriageways and footpaths – resurfacing, kerbing, drainage etc
Bridges & Structures – repair and maintenance of road and foot bridges over road, rail, or river etc
Flood Risk Management – upgrade and replacement of culverts, remediation of watercourses and land drainage etc
Procure Partnerships Framework (North West) Contractor Framework.
After a competitive tender period, the Procure Partnerships Framework confirmed that CHC was one of the successful contractors for their renewal of their new North West Contractor Framework and secured a place on Lot 6 Infrastructure £500k - £5m.
Now operating nationally, the Procure Partnerships have been delivering successful frameworks across North West England for the past four years supporting with the procurement and delivery of over 150 construction projects during this time.
As well as helping facilitate collaboration and innovation to deliver projects that will meet the changing needs of our built environment and support ambitions to build back better, the framework is structured to enable the delivery of meaningful social value, benefitting our communities, the environment and helping to protect the future of the industry through enhanced upskilling and training.
In addition, we were also successful on the Procure Partnerships Framework second generation National Framework. This refreshed framework covers Construction and we were awarded 3 places on the Demolition and Site Preparation framework in the North West, Yorkshire and East Midlands regions, with projects up to £5,000,000 in value.
