Flood Defence Works

As both a main contractor and Tier 1 contractor, Cheetham Hill Construction has undertaken design and construction of sea defence and river defence projects.

As well as the creation of flood embankments, some of our projects have required tidal working and the implementation of erosion protection measures.

Works of this nature are often carried out in areas of environmental sensitivity, which enables us to utilise our environmental management expertise.

Our equipment fleet is used to undertake the large earthworks and reclamation aspects of the work, together with any associated environmental requirements.
