Environmental Projects

Cheetham Hill Construction undertakes a wide variety of civils, building and MEICA projects in environmentally sensitive locations.

These locations include SSSI, Ancient Woodland, National Parks, adjacent to and crossing main river and watercourses, projects that impact on protected and invasive species of both flora and fauna such as bats, Natterjack Toads, newts, owls, Japanese Knotweed, Himalayan Balsam and ancient woodland and in archaeological sensitive areas, such as ancient burial grounds, roman ruins and settlements.

Our Company has the extensive experience to be able to offer a fully integrated approach on projects where careful consideration must be taken to satisfy the requirements of regulators and obtain the relevant licenses.

We are a Licenced Waste Carrier and regularly invest in specialist plant and equipment to assist in environmental projects.

A number of our projects have involved improving or creating protected species habitats. These include the construction of artificial badger setts, new water vole habitats and the translocation and exclusion of Great Crested Newts for development works.
