North West Contractors Training Group

The second week of December saw the final North West Contractors Training Group meeting of 2024. Many of those who attended also donated a wonderful set of gifts to St Helens Young Carers, an independent registered Charity that supports unpaid carers looking after someone who lives in the St Helens area and have been doing so for over 20 years.

Caring for someone who is unwell, disabled or has a drug or alcohol mis-use problem can have a big impact on a Young Carers life. It can be difficult for them to find the time to do things for themselves, like spending time with friends or keeping up to date with school work. This service provides support to Young Carers so that they are recognised and have the same opportunities and life chances as other children and young people of a similar age.

We were delighted to add our support to this worthy cause.
