Repairs complete for the East Lancashire Railway

CHC have recently completed important repairs to remove and replace damaged ducts and resurface the road for the East Lancashire Railway.

The works were carried out at the Townsend Fold Road Level crossing at weekends to reduce the impact on traffic. The damaged ducts were affecting the operations in the signal box and as such the works were completed at short notice.
