Spreading Christmas Joy with the Salvation Army Gift Appeal 2024

Traditionally, Christmas is a time for giving, and for the past few years, Cheetham Hill Construction Limited has supported charities close to our CHC sites during the festive season. This year, we once again linked up with the Salvation Army Christmas Gift Appeal to bring smiles to children and young people in Barrow-in-Furness and Gainsborough.

Throughout December, our amazing employees, and even some of their children donated toys, gifts, selection boxes and cash (which we used to buy gifts) for children of all ages. Our fantastic ‘stand in Santa’s’ Neil Stewart and Mick Down delivered these to the local Salvation Army branches in Barrow and Gainsborough, ready to be distributed to children throughout the areas.

We’ve spoken with both branches, who shared how meaningful these gifts are. For some children, these donations may be the only gifts they receive this Christmas. Your kindness and generosity really do make a difference.
