The future's bright!

CHC understands the importance of giving young people the opportunity to gain real work experience, so they can understand how what they learn in school can be applied to the work environment.

Over the last few weeks, we have welcomed Hattie, Tom, and Jonty who all spent time with us gaining valuable experience. Hattie helped in the office with admin tasks and covered reception, whilst Tom and Jonty visited various sites seeing how things work.

Remember Alfie? He did a few days’ work experience with us earlier this year, and more recently he went along to Hopwood Hall College for a taster day and to see if the groundwork apprenticeship is an option for him.

We know there are some great opportunities out there in the civil engineering and construction industry, so we wish these young people all the best.
