Environment Agency Framework update

CHC were awarded a place on the Environment Agency’s Flood and Coastal Risk Management Operational Framework (FCRM) in April 2018. Covering the North of England, the framework consolidates a number of other frameworks and projects into four operational hubs.

The framework has been created to deliver design, civil engineering, culvert clearance and maintenance works in the river, coastal and estuary environments upto £250,000 in value per project.

Due to the nature of the works, the effective management of health, safety, environment and wellbeing is of paramount importance.

• Desilting various main rivers across Lancashire
• Strongstry Flood Alleviation Bund
• Cawood Wistow Reservoir repairs
• Lancashire tidal outfalls
• River Roch retaining wall – Repair collapsed section of wall
• Dronfield Dam Emergency repairs
• Northwich Minor Civils Works
• Cockersands Abbey emergency coastal defence repairs
• Various fish and eel passes
• Various embankment design assessments
• Windermere trash screen
