CHC champions the use of local procurement on Manchester City Football Academy Project

18 Sep 2012

Following the recent announcement by Manchester City Football Club that work is set to commence on the new City Football Academy, the club has highlighted the projects regenerative benefits for the community including job creation and local procurement.

Cheetham Hill Construction's Director, Phil Ross, is featured on their website discussing the Company's involvement with the stadium, its belief in the use of local labour and suppliers and the hope this development will uphold the Commonwealth Games legacy.

CHC was involved with the development of the City of Manchester Stadium after the Commonwealth Games in 2002, carrying out major earthworks to provide additional seating prior to its handover to the current Premier League Champions.
