Bury Careers Event 2022

On Wednesday 28th September CHC attended the Bury Careers Event at Castle Leisure Centre along with other employers, colleges, universities, and apprenticeship providers to meet young people looking to find out more about opportunities after school and college.

According to Bury Council, over 1100 young people (approximately 30% of the Year 11 cohort for the Borough) attended throughout the day which was significantly higher than in 2021. Claire Chamberlain, together with other CHC volunteers were on hand to speak to them about opportunities with CHC and to tell them about the success we have had in finding apprentices in recent years.

As a result, we have arranged several informal chats over the next few weeks with people we met, to tell them a bit more about our industry and how they can get involved.
