Double safety award success
Cheetham Hill Construction is celebrating double safety award success this month after receiving two awards for its safety management.
CHC is the inaugural winner of the United Utilities Competitive Tender Quarterly Safety Award, which has been awarded for the recognition of excellent performance in the field of health and safety whilst delivering a number of projects for the client. These projects include Edenfield Road, Whitendale X Pipeline and Hurst Impounding Reservoir.
In addition, CHC has been awarded its third Gold Medal in as many years from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). The RoSPA national award scheme recognises excellence in health and safety performance by both private and public sector organisations, rewarding those who maintain a very high standard of occupational health and safety over a 12 month period.
These are great achievements for the Company, which identifies proactive safety management as an integral factor in the construction process and aims to uphold an excellent safety culture.
